Terms of Service

Effective July 15, 2026

These terms apply when you use Poppy, a word game for learning Korean and Japanese. By using the app, you agree to them.

Using Poppy

You get a personal, non-transferable license to use Poppy on Apple devices that you own or control, for learning and enjoyment. Please do not copy the app, resell it, take it apart, or use it to break the law.

Subscriptions

• Poppy is unlocked by an auto-renewing yearly subscription purchased through Apple. The exact price is always shown before you buy.
• New subscribers may get a free trial. When the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
• Subscriptions renew automatically every year until cancelled. You can cancel anytime in your Apple Account subscription settings, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
• Purchases, billing, and refunds are handled by Apple. Purchases are also governed by Apple's standard licensed application terms.

Your learning progress

Your progress is stored on your device. If you delete the app or use the reset option, your progress is gone and cannot be recovered. We are not responsible for lost progress.

The service

We work hard to keep Poppy fun and working well, but the app is provided as it is, without warranties. Features may change, improve, or be removed over time. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for damages arising from your use of the app beyond the amount you paid for it.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. Using the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
